Record Chasing Triplets

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a national organization that works toward equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, and research. Local philanthropy in support of this mission includes scholarships, community action grants, and leadership programs for women and girls.

Meet Ann Marie Cody

Ann Marie is a NASA astronomer and Guinness Book of World Records record holder for the “fastest marathon pushing a triple pram (female)” (and “fastest half marathon…” record holder). With the AAUW Wildflower Run, in Morgan Hill, CA on March 31, 2019, she is pursuing a similar world record for the 10K.

Ann Marie & AAUW Priorities

Ann Marie at work

Ann Marie, the mother of 2 year old triplets, embraces AAUW’s priorities. As a scientist working in the Silicon Valley, she understands the challenges of balancing work or education with raising a family. She also values AAUW’s focus on education and the scholarships and leadership programs the organization provides.

It is our hope that as part of this effort, we will inspire you to make a donation in honor of Ann Marie and her little Three Peas in a Pram. Your gift will help to support the kinds of public policy and educational support that enable women to achieve their dreams.

Your tax deductible donation to AAUW’s “Interbranch Special Projects Foundation” will be directed to AAUW Morgan Hill’s Wildflower Fund for our philanthropic projects.
