Events

10K Run – 8:45 am (Note new time)

This is a flat and fast course–excellent for setting your personal best–winding its way along scenic paved back roads. The route begins and ends at Live Oak High School, starting near the south end of the east parking lot and ending in the middle of the same parking lot, near the Finish Fest. There will be a chip start, so your time will start when you cross the start line. Medals and prizes for 1st-3rd overall men and women. Also medals for 1st-3rd men and women for each age group (9 age groups  up to 80+). All medals and prizes will be presented on the winners’ podium, in the center of the Finish Fest, near the finish line. Presentations will start at approximately 10 am. School Site Map

NOTE: We are revising the 10K route for 2026, and new maps will be available soon. An important change is that both the 5K and the 10K will start and finish in the east parking lot. If you are picking up your bib and shirt on race day, please allow enough time to pick them up as usual on the WEST side of the school and then head across the campus to the EAST side (where the runs have traditionally finished and where they are now starting as well).

Kids 11 and under: Head over to the medals table after finishing the 10K Run and you will receive our annual kids’ finisher medal.

NOTE: The event is on an open course, and you will be sharing the road with the occasional car; please stay to the side of the road as some vehicular traffic is expected.

5K Run/Walk/Stroller – 9:20 am

This is a flat and fast course, also on scenic paved back roads. The route begins and ends at Live Oak High School, starting in the middle of the east parking lot and also ending in the east parking lot. There will be a chip start, so your time will start when you cross the start line. We ask that walkers and strollers position themselves behind runners at the start. All medals and prizes will be presented on the winners’ podium, in the center of the Finish Fest, near the finish line. Presentations will start at approximately 10 am. School Site Map

NOTE: We are revising the 5K route for 2026, and new maps will be available soon. An important change is that both the 5K and the 10K will start and finish in the east parking lot.
