Prize Drawings: Opportunities For All!

Along with all the other benefits of the 2021 virtual Wildflower Run, we are excited to offer you many ways to enter drawings to win one or more of dozens of prizes, including two grand prizes.

  • Post your run results HERE. and receive two (2) entries into our drawings. You will need to enter your bib number to get started. Questions or problems? Contact results@WildflowerRun.org.

  • Be Part of a Virtual Team. New this year, every virtual team member (public or private – see teams) – will receive one (1) drawing entry each.

  • Participate in our social media contest (by posting or emailing us to post for you). Please note that you must enter our social media contest in order to be eligible for the grand prize drawings. We have numerous ways for you to participate and increase your chances of winning …. Read on!

     

Social Media Contest Entry

To enter our social media contest, just post a public short comment and a photo/selfie of yourself. to our Facebook and/or Instagram. Use the hashtags #WildflowerRun and #WildflowerRunMH. (If posting for someone else or a team or family, please include bib number/s of contestant/s.) Alternately, you may email your comment and picture to prizes@WildflowerRun.org, and we will post it for you. You may submit multiple entries (in different categories) to increase your chances of winning.

Maximize Your Chances to Win Prizes!

  1. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram. You will receive one (1) drawing entry for each platform you follow us on.
  2. Participate in the 2021 Wildflower Run social media contest: Every Wildflower Run runner/walker/stroller entrant who participates in the social media contest gets one (1) drawing entry per category they qualify in (specify categories in comment field) and is automatically eligible for the grand prize drawings and other prizes. (Or, if you want us to post for you, just email your pictures and comments to us at prizes@WildflowerRun.org.)
  3. Post in response to our pre-run weekly challenges and comment to get an entry or entries in the separate pre-event drawing.
  4. Post early to be an early-bird drawing winner: We will draw 5 winners from the first 20 participants who post their run experience on social media (starting March 20). Winners will still be eligible for all future drawings.
  5. Participate in as many categories (listed below) as you can: We will keep track of your entries for each category you enter.

Pre-Event Training Prizes!

Post photos or videos for each of our weekly pre-run training challenges. You will receive one entry in a separate pre-event drawing for each post.

Five (5) Early Bird Prizes!

Five (5) participants from the first 20 who post their completed Wildflower Run experience (picture & comment on social media or email it to us) receive an early bird prize through an early bird drawing. These entries will also be included in future drawings.

Dozens of Participation Prizes!

After you finish your Wildflower Run event, post a public short comment and a photo/selfie of yourself. to our Facebook and/or Instagram. Use the hashtags #WildflowerRun and #WildflowerRunMH. Two (2) Adult Grand Prizes! (Drawing from all social media participants)

  • Grand prize – Elegant, authentic Tibetan dinner for 8, delivered. (Recipient must be able to pick up if more than one hour from Morgan Hill, CA). SEE DETAILS.
  • Second grand prize – Private wine tasting for 6. (Recipient must travel to Morgan Hill, CA for this prize)

Each team member will receive, per category below, one (1) drawing entry (in addition to the one you each received for joining a virtual team) when you post a team-related picture and comment:

About the Prizes

Many of the gift cards from Morgan Hill restaurants and local businesses were purchased by the AAUW Morgan Hill Wildflower Run committee from establishments that have generously donated to the Run in the past. This is our way to both give back both to our loyal donors in the time of the pandemic and make it exciting for our participants.

In addition, some prizes have been donated by local businesses and community members.

Not a local? Don’t worry, you will receive easily redeemable gift cards to national or online organizations.
